Chlopskie Jadlo (Countryside cuisine) is one of the most well-known destinations in
Cracow, popular with visitors and locals alike. The first restaurant was open in
Glogoczew in 1995. The main reason for this venture was to show the culinary
traditions of the 19 th century countryside in Poland. The restaurant gained
tremendous popularity and now there are 4 of them in Cracow and neighbourhood.
The food is well-cooked, simple and delicious, and the portions suitably hearty to
match the authentic peasant decor. Traditionally styled restaurant with very
traditional Polish cuisine. It’s served in authentic interiors.
