This creates a feature reader containing the selected features. ■ Create an MgSelection object to hold the features in the feature reader. ■ Send the selection to the viewer, along with a call to the Viewer API function SetSelectionXML(). Example: Setting the Active Selection The following example combines the pieces needed to create a selection using the Web API and pass it back to the Viewer where it becomes the active selection for the map.
