ART EXPLORATION Take an adventure through exploration of cultural and creative arts in this 8-week art class. Students will explore different mediums of art consisting of watercolors, painting on canvas, paper mache, 3D art and collages. There will be a new project every week (projects vary per class). Fee: $115. At each session we will provide wood working for 6 to 13-year-olds that use a variety of age appropriate tools. Tools include hammers, drills, levels, measuring tapes, squares and miter saws. We stress safety and proper usage of each tool. The students will construct several different projects allowing them to have hands on experience using real tools and creatively paint and personalize their project to take home. Classes include instruction in steps, techniques, and dance routines. Students may progress from beginning level classes, which emphasize basic skills, to more advanced classes, building strength, developing complex motor skills, and increasing their understanding of dance forms and styles. Our experienced instructors will recommend the ideal level for students Level 2 and above, based upon skill requirements for each level. We strive to create a positive environment, in which each individual child can actively participate and thrive. Children must be able to participate without parent being present. Parents and other visitors are welcome during four observation days each session!
