Whether you’re looking for adult sports (Men’s, Women’s and Co-Ed leagues in basketball, s<strong>of</strong>tball), youth sports, a gym <strong>to</strong> play<br />

in, a room <strong>to</strong> rent for your next special event or just a beautiful park in which <strong>to</strong> relax, Kennedy Center is the place <strong>to</strong> be! All ages<br />

are invited <strong>to</strong> visit our game room <strong>to</strong> play pool, foosball, ping-pong, air hockey or a variety <strong>of</strong> table and board games.<br />

Our 11,000 square foot skatepark <strong>of</strong>fers an exciting skating venue for skateboarders, in-line-skaters, scooters and BMX bikes.<br />

(Completed liability waiver, knee and elbow pads, helmet and ID Card required. A $5 fee is charged for all new and replacement cards.<br />

Ages 7 and up.)<br />

Skate and Bike Clinics - Ages 7 - Adult<br />

Kennedy Skate Park <strong>of</strong>fers clinics for rollerblading, scooters, BMX bikes and skateboarding! These<br />

2 hour clinics focus on skill development and safety for all experience levels. A series <strong>of</strong> clinics<br />

can be purchased at a discounted rate or one at a time for $8.00 each. Clinics are <strong>of</strong>fered for ages<br />

7-adult. A Kennedy Skate Park ID card, elbow pads, kneepads, and a helmet are required for participation.<br />

Visit Renette Park <strong>Recreation</strong> Center with a brand new look! Recently renovated with Community Development Block Grant funds, this<br />

40-year old facility has been recently remodeled <strong>to</strong> include a new HVAC system; ADA accessible spaces and an overall new look for the<br />

community <strong>to</strong> enjoy. Renette Park <strong>Recreation</strong> Center includes meeting spaces, a large dance studio, gymnasium, game room and<br />

houses the citywide Instructional Division Office. The park includes a colorful playground, skate plaza, outdoor basketball courts and<br />

large playing fields. Come enjoy the new and improved Renette Park <strong>Recreation</strong> Center <strong>to</strong>day.<br />

Hours: Sunday-Saturday, 7:00am-9:00pm<br />

Wells Park is a beautiful 18-acre park with lighted multi-purpose and s<strong>of</strong>tball fields, a<br />

fitness course and handicap accessible playgrounds and restrooms. The sidewalk that<br />

encircles the park is ideal for walkers and joggers. The wide-open space is perfect for<br />

family picnics and gatherings.<br />

The <strong>of</strong>f-leash dog area is a place where dogs can meet other dogs and have a good<br />

time. We have one area for little dogs and another area for big dogs <strong>to</strong> run freely. See<br />

page 36 for more details.<br />
