The <strong>El</strong> <strong>Cajon</strong> <strong>Recreation</strong> Department is a proud member <strong>of</strong> the Greater<br />
San Diego <strong>Recreation</strong> and Parks Coalition for Health and Wellness.<br />
Programs on this page provide physical activity that meets the National Minimum Standard.<br />
Tumbling classes include floor exercise skills <strong>to</strong> help develop strength, flexibility and coordination. Levels range from very basic <strong>to</strong><br />
advanced instruction. An excellent compliment <strong>to</strong> gymnastics classes. Students Level II and above may participate in the annual<br />
dance recital and other tumbling demonstrations. For boys and girls.<br />

TUMBLING FOR BOYS & GIRLS<br />
These tumbling classes are for boys and girls combined. Students<br />
will learn skills from forward rolls <strong>to</strong> back flips. A progressive<br />
skill list is used <strong>to</strong> advance from level <strong>to</strong> level. Emphasis is<br />
placed on connecting skills <strong>to</strong>gether in levels III and up. Fee: $43.<br />

JUNIOR ADVANCED TUMBLING<br />
The Junior Advanced class is for students who are ready <strong>to</strong> learn<br />
more advanced skills for use in gymnastics competition or<br />
cheerleading. Students will learn the importance <strong>of</strong> proper<br />
technique, safety and form. This level will stress combinations <strong>of</strong><br />
skills from aerials <strong>to</strong> back flipping in different positions. Fee: $48.<br />
Resident Discount: $36. Ages: 7-18.<br />

ADVANCED TUMBLING<br />
This class is for those who have completed Junior Advanced<br />
Tumbling skills, and are serious about learning advanced skills<br />
and possibly performing in competitions and exhibitions at<br />
some time. Skill level is <strong>to</strong> whatever level the student is ready <strong>to</strong><br />
learn including front and back flips involving twisting. Learning<br />
new skills, good form, technique and attitude are our goals. Fee:<br />
$48. Resident Discount: $36. Ages: 7-18.<br />
