Silver Medal, 1688, by C Wermuth, a Jesuit, Father
Petre, seated on a lobster at the seashore, holds the
infant prince, a French ship off the shore waits for
them, rev shield displaying windmill within rosary,
31mm (E 300; MI i 643/71). Toned, good very fine with
faint traces of original lustre. £300-400
