Álvaro Galindo first played for the Pumas in the year 2004 against Uruguay in the South American Tournament and,
in that same competition, he also played against Venezuela. However, Galindo did not play for the National Team in
the following years, until 2008 when he was called by the Head Coach of the Pumas, Santiago Phelan, and played
two Test Matches, against Scotland and Italy. During the years in which he was not playing for the Pumas, this
player from the province of Tucumán, who used to play for Beziers in France, participated in the Argentine National
Team A and Argentine XV, taking part in nine matches. AT present, he is part of French club Racing Metro, where
he plays with many other Argentine players.
