It has been Career Life Programs’ good fortune to have had Stacey Smith
as a dedicated member of our team for the past four years. It has always
been Stacey’s mandate to provide the best opportunity possible for all of
our students. By doing this, Stacey brought commitment, enthusiasm and
devotion to all aspects of his role as a Dual Credit liaison for SD23.
Success stories from our students who were enrolled in Okanagan College
or the Secondary School Apprenticeship program can be directly attributed
to Stacey and his amazing work ethic.
Stacey has made a difference in
the lives of so many students in
our school district and we know
that he will continue to do so at
Rutland Senior Secondary, where
he has posted into a full-time
teaching position starting this fall.
We will miss him, and we wish
Stacey the best of luck!

since the end of January.

Career Life Programs is so successful because of our community’s involvement
with School District No. 23 students. The job skills, observation and work
experience that students gain at worksites within our community are invaluable.
We greatly appreciate all the time that employers, faculty, and community members
put in to connect with our students and provide them with career opportunities.
