and explain the process of clothing storage within the context of Boyd and<br />

McConocha’s (1996) Consumer Household Logistics System Model (Figure 1). Boyd<br />

and McConcoha’s (1996) Consumer Household Logistics System Model addresses<br />

product storage, as well as related concepts such as product acquisition, use, and<br />

disposal.<br />

In the present research, McCracken’s (1988) four-step method of inquiry,<br />

which focuses on data collection via “the long interview,” was followed. The four<br />

“steps” outlined by McCracken (1988) include: Step 1, the review of literature; Step 2,<br />

the review of the researcher’s personal experience with the topic; Step 3, the<br />

development of a questionnaire and data collection; and Step 4, the discovery of<br />
