Herrmann Music in Have Gun Will Travel and - Film Score Rundowns

Now: In disc 3 of that 50 th Anniversary dvd set, an Eight Season representative is
“Quint Asper Comes Home.” There is indeed Herrmann music in that one, so I’ll
delineate the locations in case the buyer wishes to purchase the set (I recommend it
highly).

This is an excellent episode that introduces Burt Reynolds as “Quint.” It also costars
Harry Carey, Jr (a frequent guest star in HGWT).

This is a very nice episode that introduces Ken Curtis as a regular cast member of
the Gunsmoke family, Festus Haggens. There is Herrmann music here but lifted from the
original score Herrmann scored for the half-hour episode titled “Tall Trapper.” Gene
Feldman was the music editor.
