4.2.5 Refuelling (only <strong>LS10</strong>-st)
1. The built-in electric fuel pump must be used for the refuelling process.
2. The pre-mixed two-stroke fuel mixture should be stored in transparent
cans. This allows the proper intermixture to be checked and enables the
detection of water in the fuel.
Warning: Even small water accumulations in the fuel system may have an
adverse affect or total loss of engine power. Therefore water accumulations in
fuel system must be removed before flying (dumping fuel by using the drain
valve on the deepest point of the fuel system )
Warning: Do not use other types of fuel mixtures from those specified in section
2.6
3. For refuelling the glider must be aligned (wings horizontal) and fixed in
this position.
4. Main switch “ON”.
5. Connect pipe P/N.: Z155/1 to fuselage connector (tube with quick
connector) in baggage compartment.
6. Put the other end (brass tube) in the fuel can.
7. Start refuelling pump by pressing the push button installed on the bottom
side of the instrument panel. DEI-NT displays “??“ in available fuel
position and ”-:--“ in available engine time position.
8. If sucking performance of the pump is not sufficient place the fuel can in a
higher position.
9. Check rising filling level on the front side of the tank.
10. The “tank-full” sensor switches off the fuel pump if the max fuel level of
approx 12 liters (3,2U.S.gal.) is reached. DEI-NT now performs an
automatic fuel level calibration. If a partial filling of the tank including
accurate fuel level indication is required the filled amount can be entered
manually (refer to section 7.4.2.4 D).
Note: When the refuelling pump does not start operation: check DEI-NT
indication, pump will not run with full tank.
Caution: Avoid refuelling pump running dry- danger of undue wear!
