YOUTH SHOW RULES AND REGULATIONS<br />
1. This show is sanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association. All animals must be registered by ADGA.<br />
2. It is open to youth 21 years of age and under.<br />
3. Goats must be owned by exhibitor before the age of 2 or before first freshening.<br />
4. Leased animals must be under the age of 2, never freshened and a lease form must be on file with the extension<br />
office by June 1, 2012.<br />
5. 4-H classes are for <strong>Cecil</strong> <strong>County</strong> 4-Hers only. All others will show as open. Showmanship is for 4-H only.<br />
6. Entries are not limited; however, only 2 premiums will be paid per exhibitor, per breed, per class.<br />
7. All exhibitors must comply with the general rules and regulations, and the rules governing the conduct of<br />
official ADGA shows. Rules subject to change.<br />
8. Entry fee is $2.00 per animal per class for the open show .<br />
9. All 4-H youth showing must participate in fitting and showing.<br />
10. Entries must be postmarked by July 1, 2012. No late entries accepted.<br />
11. 4-H animals must be on the grounds for check-in between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm Saturday, July 21, 2012.<br />
Open animals must arrive between 6:30 and 8:30 am on Monday, July 23, 2012.<br />
12. Base Date for show is July 23, 2012.<br />
13. All animals must have health papers signed by a Veterinarian.<br />
BREEDS: Alpine, La Mancha, Toggenburg, Nubian, Recorded Grade, and all other purebreds<br />
