Jumper Show Rules<br />
1. Horse shows are a part of the <strong>Cecil</strong> <strong>County</strong> <strong>Fair</strong>. All<br />
spectators entering the fair grounds must pay a gate<br />
fee. (Adult/$5. Seniors/children 6-12/$2, children<br />
under 6/free) Exhibitors (anyone showing a horse/<br />
pony) will be given two (2) GATE passes and one (1)<br />
CAR pass to allow parking at the show barns. (Preentry<br />
passes will be mailed to you.) Every vehicle<br />
entering via Entrance 3 must have a car hang tag…….<br />
Everyone in the vehicle entering the fair grounds<br />
must have a gate pass. NO EXCEPTIONS! Extra gate<br />
and car passes may be ordered with your entry.<br />
Please include quantity of each and a SEPARATE<br />
CHECK made out to <strong>Cecil</strong> <strong>County</strong> <strong>Fair</strong>.<br />
2. Pre-entries for open classes are due by 07-17-12 at<br />
$15 per class. Pre-entries for Classics are $50.<br />
3. All pre-entries must include a copy of current negative<br />
coggins and check. Only <strong>Cecil</strong> <strong>County</strong> 4-H members<br />
with proper card on file may enter the 4-H classes<br />
and must be pre-registered by 07-01-12 with a security<br />
deposit check for $25 (made payable to <strong>Cecil</strong><br />
<strong>County</strong> <strong>Fair</strong>) refundable after completion of classes.<br />
4. Post entries are $20 per class. Post entries for<br />
Classics are $75. All post entries must be made<br />
before the start of<br />
5. the class, and must include a copy of the current<br />
negative coggins.<br />
6. No adds or scratches at the gate. All changes must<br />
be made to the show office. No refunds for missed<br />
classes. No refunds for scratched classes without a<br />
veterinarian’s certificate. Entries after jump order is<br />
posted will go first.<br />

Please note that there will be no dogs allowed on the<br />
fairgrounds and/or horse show area.<br />

7. Stall are available 07-24-12 at $25 per stall. Bring<br />
your own straw, no shavings are permitted. Stalls<br />
will be cleaned for you.<br />
8. Jump heights are approximate.<br />
9. Approved ASTM/SEI helmets with safety harness<br />
are required on all mounted riders anywhere on the<br />
show/fair grounds. If a riding coat is not worn, riders<br />
must wear a shirt with a collar or choker, neatly<br />
tucked into riding breeches.<br />
8. Formal attired is required for Classics. You must<br />
enter both division classes to be in the Classic.<br />
9. Six ribbons in all classes with points 10, 6, 4, 2, 1, 0.5.<br />
Classics will offer ribbons, trophies, and prize money.<br />
Championships awarded in each division. Prize<br />
money will be mailed after the fair. Classic payout is<br />
40%,30%,20%, 10%.<br />
10. No mounted exhibitor may wear or carry an electronic<br />
device (i.e. cell phone, pager, etc) while in the<br />
competition ring.<br />
11. All classes are held in the Foxcatcher Ring, with<br />
sand/rubber footing and warm up ring of stone dust.<br />
12. Numbers will be issued when entry is received<br />
with full payment or signed, blank check to hold for<br />
final payment. The driver’s license number must be<br />
legibly written on the check. A $35 return check fee<br />
will be enforced.<br />
13. Please be aware of all rules.
