With sports awards day fast approaching
,it is a good time to reflect on the year
that has stretched out behind us. It
seems as if it was not that long ago that
we were getting our teams ready for
volleyball zones. We had all four teams
in zones and ended up in the finals or
semi-finals with most of them. As
volleyball was winding down we started
right up into curling and basketball. We
had curlers attending practice each
week and sent a team of boys and a team
of girls to zones. Basketball took us from
December to March. We had a JV and
varsity boys team. Both teams
represented us well at the zone level.
With spring came our track and field
season. Our athletes competed in a
couple of meets before zones. Every
athlete did very well, with a few
personal bests and top placements.
Our busy sports year could not be
done without the help of our dedicated
coaches and players. Please come to
our awards day held on June 14,
starting at 1:00, to show your
appreciation and celebrate in another
great year of sports at ACI.

With basketball and curling
out of the way we quickly
started our badminton
season. Our athletes filled a
JV and varsity roster for
divisionals. A healthy
representation from our
varsity doubles team made it
on to zones and all of the JV
team made it to the zone
level.
