vintage arrangements of music from the Ragtime Era, roughly 1897-1917. The 12-piece group plays music by Scott
Joplin, ‘The King of Ragtime,’ as well as marches, waltzes, show tunes, tangos, and vaudeville ditties from the dawn
of Tin Pan Alley. The orchestra plays private events, concerts, and jazz festivals near their home base of Thousand
Oaks, California, as well as at venues including the annual Scott Joplin Festival in Sedalia, Missouri. [Item Code:

musical romp as the group takes the energy of Reinhardt and Grappelli up a notch on reworked jazz staples such as
‘Limehouse Blues’ and ‘Too Close for Comfort,’ or American songbook classics including ‘Squeeze Me’ and ‘Time

album ‘Moanin’, which is widely regarded as one of the finest albums in the history of Blakey’s Jazz Messengers. It
was the first LP by the third formation of the group, featuring Lee Morgan, Benny Golson (composer of most of the
songs) and Bobby Timmons. As a bonus, four extended tunes recorded immediately afterwards in Paris, two of which
(‘Are You Real’ and ‘Moanin’) are versions of songs from the studio album. Includes an 8-page booklet. [Item Code:
