Repair/Replacement of Steam Exhauster Duct in CCD during
Capital/Major Repairs.

The contractor should visit the site study the job,understand the
criticality,assess the requirement of the resources and safety measures.
The contractor should deploy qualified work men with proper safety
induction to work at heights and follow all safety procedures
The contractor should have experience in executing the jobs at heights
The required lifting tackles, winches etc. for erection at different
heights and elevation are to be arranged by the agency.
All landing platforms, scaffoldings, etc. required at heights to be made
by the contractors only. These are to be dismantled and disposed after
the job is over.
Continuous qualified supervision is to be arranged by the contractor.
The contractors will be asked to discontinue the job and the contract
will be terminated if:
1. There is any lapse in the safety measures.
2. Lack of resources (men, material).
3. Lack of supervision.
SALES TAX CLAUSE:
a) Materials to be supplied by VSP : Spares required for the
job,Structural steel,pipes and valves,duct pipes,
b)Consumables to be supplied by VSP : Welding electrodes including
special electrodes,gases
c)Materials to be supplied by Contractor :PAINTS FOR STEAM EXHAUSTER
DUCT
d) Consumables to be suppliedby Contractor : NIL
THE DEDUCTION OF SALES TAX SHALL BE DONE AS PER THE RULES PREVAILING
FROM TIME TO TIME.
Safety clause: The contractor shall ensure usage of ISI marked
regulators,hoses,cutting torches,welding holders and cables for cutting
and welding works. This must be adhere to strictly.
