Television drama about the armed robbery of a supermarket in Putney, London, and
other criminal activities, from different points of view. Detectives from the
Flying Squad at New Scotland Yard investigate using informers " grass" or
"snouts". The court system, with its "beaks" and "briefs", is part of the story,
which shows all participants looking out for their own interests. The last
episode dramatises prison life.

A report on investigations into the death of Indonesia's leading human rights
activist, Munir Thalib Said, by arsenic poisoning while a passenger on board
Garuda Flight 974 to Holland. Munir's wife and fellow human rights activists
initiate their own investigations. Finding themselves up against criminals, they
hand the case to the Parliamentary Commission on Human Rights, hoping they could
enforce the law and uphold justice, and solve Munir's murder. In turn, the
Commission have to ask the new president for support, in the face of powerful
opposition. They have evidence that Munir's death is the result of a conspiracy,
involving Garuda and Indonesia's feared intelligence and security institutions.
Munir's wife is now in Geneva lobbying the U.N., and will next lobby the
European Union, in Brussels. Arsenic poisoning to silence high profile public
figures seems commonplace, and is ongoing. The president, SBY, appears
personally committed to seeing that those behind Garuda are brought to account.
He has come to power vowing to clean up his country's human rights reputation.
Includes selected archival footage of Munir's background and his rise to
prominence, from lawyer to human rights campaigner, leading a tiredless crusade
against state-sponsored thuggery and militarism.
