12 Brake Components & Brake Line 12-012 Disc Brake Calipers PERFORMANCE MACHINE 6 PISTON FRONT CALIPERS WITH DIFFERENTIAL BORE FOR 1984 TO PRESENT MODELS These "112x6B" type compact 6 piston differential bore calipers are designed for use with stock or aftermarket 11 1/2" disc rotors, but also available for use with 13" aftermarket discs. This direct bolt on caliper has its design roots in endurance road racing which showed the need for differential bore sizes use a larger trailing piston to compensate for uneven pad wear under high heat applications. PM has introduced this technology in these 6 piston calipers. The differential bore system has been race proven and is ready to give you the best feel possible and smooth powerful braking.Single or dual, this is the very best front brake set up anywhere. These calipers bolt straight onto the stock lugs on the front fork. Order 1 left caliper for single disc and 1 right and 1 left for dual disc application. For these applications you can use the narrower 125x4SL type caliper ZPN 721290 or 721292 PM 4 PISTON FRONT CALIPERS FOR 2006 TO PRESENT V-ROD AND 2008 TO PRESENT TOURING Harley introduced 300 mm front discs in 2006 on V-Rod models. In 2008 these 300 mm discs were adapted on FLH and FLT series models. These V-Rod and Touring models utilize a smaller bore brake master cylinder. In order to optimize braking performance on those models, PM created smaller volume calipers based on the proven symmetrical bore 125x4B design. Customers who prefer differential bore PM 4 or 6 piston calipers on their bike must upgrade from the stock 15mm bore brake master cylinder to an 11/16" bore for optimal performance. PM 4 PISTON CALIPER FOR 2006 DYNA MODELS WITH 11 1/2" DISCS The 2006 to present Dyna models come from the Factory with 11.8" (300 mm) diameter front disc rotors. As there are very few aftermarket disc brake rotors available in this size PM created a special version of their popular 137X4B caliper. These calipers feature offset mounting holes, allowing installation of aftermarket 11 1/2" (292 mm) diameter discs. When you don't want to change your discs but want PM calipers for perfect looks and improved braking performance you can use ZPN 721433 and ZPN 721435 calipers, as these will work with your 11.8" rotors. 722742 Polished 743168 Chrome 743078 Black Contrast Cut PM DIFFERENTIAL BORE REAR CALIPER KIT Fully dressed FLT & FLH models require full brake power.
