HARRISON "BILLET" SLIMLINE BRAKE CALIPERS
Harrison Engineering was, back in 1986, one of the first companies to
design and develop a multi-piston aftermarket caliper for Harley-
Davidson motorcycles. These calipers, marketed under the "Billet"
brand, are still available. For those looking for a sleeker looking caliper
we also have their 4 and 6 piston calipers in the new "Slimline" design.
Like the original Harrison Billets every caliper is precisely CNC machined
from lightweight, aircraft quality aluminum alloy with special hard
anodized low expansion aluminum alloy caliper pistons and one brake
pad for each piston. Harrison claims this gives a more 'leading edge
bite' on the disc than any two pad, or differential bore calipers. It is also
especially beneficial in wet conditions, because the first set of pads
sweep water off the disc,while the following 2 or 4 pads are still 'biting'
on the disc. That removes the effect of the calipers 'skating' on the
disc, and then braking sharply and suddenly when the disc becomes
dry. Harrison Slimline calipers are truly progressive, with a direct and
sensitive relation between the amount of lever pressure and the amount
of braking power. These show polished, chrome or black anodized
calipers are available in 4- and 6-piston designs and do not only provide
ultimate stopping power, they also have super sleek looks. The front
calipers bolt straight to the front fork bottom leg, and the rear sets
include the mounting bracket. Stainless steel shims to space the caliper
to the disc, and mounting bolts are included with each kit. Matching
design brake rotors can be found elsewhere in this catalog.

HARRISON BILLET LIFETIME WARRANTY
Harrison Billet brake calipers are top-quality products and besides a
twelve month limited warranty on the caliper, they carry a lifetime
warranty on piston wear. No matter how old your Harrison Billet
caliper is, whenever it shows a piston to caliper brake fluid leak, that
is not caused by worn seals, you can return the caliper (freight prepaid)
to Zodiac. It will be repaired at no charge and returned to you
freight collect.Warranty will be void when abuse,or poor maintenance
of the caliper causes the defect.
