HOW DOES THE SILENT AUCTION OPERATE?
In order for you to understand how the Silent Auction works, a step-bystep
description is listed below:
1) The Silent Auction will begin at 5:30 pm and continue until
approximately 7:45 pm.
2) You will be assigned a paddle number at check-in.
3) Various items or certificates are displayed throughout the food court
area.
4) Each item has a number assigned to it and a bid sheet attached.
5) When you are ready to place a bid on an item, write your paddle
number and the amount you wish to bid on the item bid sheet.
6) Your bid must be higher than the minimum bid and/or the previous
bidder’s amount in the correct increment as displayed on the bid
sheet.
7) You may bid as often as you wish until the silent auction is closed
by the silent auction moderator.
8) The final highest correct bid at closing is the owner of the item.
9) Items will be identified with a sticker indicating the winning bidder.
10) Merchandise monitors will be stationed throughout the silent
auction area to assist you with check-out.
11) Paid invoices or your express card must be presented before items
can be removed from Halton Arena.
12) Please be sure your paddle number corresponds with the winning
bid number on the items you leave with.
13) Silent auction items are not available for delivery.
