This section provides all of the technical information necessary for the proper design and selection of wire, cable and tubing products for a wide
variety of industry applications. Logically, this information is divided into design specific and application specific sections. Design specific information
found in this guide includes data on insulation and jacket material properties, copper conductors, current carrying capacity, cable shielding selection
and color code charts for product wiring diagrams and specifications.
Application specific information found in this guide includes tables for AWG to metric conductor conversions, temperature conversion charts, a wire
and tubing cut pieces estimator chart, flexible cable application parameters, flexible cable test results and flexible cable installation and handling
procedures. In addition, a cable design specification worksheet is provided to assist with the identification of custom cable design parameters.
