ENGINEERING SPECIFICATION
Cable shall be Alpha Wire Company XTRA•GUARD ® High-Flex
Control Cable. Manufactured from super finely stranded bare copper
conductors in accordance with ASTM-B-3. Conductors shall be insulated
with premium polyvinylchloride, which meets the UL VW-1 flame test
requirements. Conductor insulation shall conform with UL Style 10012
and CSA AWM I A/B. Insulated conductors shall be red, numbered
black with one yellow/green grounding conductor on the outer layer.
Jacketing shall be manufactured from premium oil resistant flexible
polyvinylchloride conforming to current UL and CSA standards and in
compliance with .
Complete cables meet UL Style 2587 and CSA AWM I A/B II A/B
FT1 rating requirements, for 600 Volt applications.
