IKONOS pan band is still an unsolved problem. In digital passive optical remote sensing at the moment<br />
only the HRSC sensor from the DLR in Berlin is able to deliver DEMs of the requested quality.<br />
Table 22 furthermore illustrates the improvements in sensors and auxiliary data, which are expected to<br />
increase the accuracy and performances of the alpine applications in general and the of the erosion<br />
risk assessment in particular.<br />
