Configuring Apache with a <strong>Server</strong> in a Cluster<br />

If a server is part of a cluster, you need to take some additional steps to configure it for<br />

Apache Web server support.<br />

To configure Apache for a server that is part of a cluster<br />

1 If you have not already done so, configure the server for Apache, as described in<br />

“Configuring <strong>My</strong> <strong>webMethods</strong> <strong>Server</strong>” on page 39.<br />

2 Locate the cluster.xml file for the cluster.<br />

See Chapter 10, “<strong>My</strong> <strong>webMethods</strong> <strong>Server</strong> Clustering” for information about using<br />

servers in a cluster.<br />

3 In a text editor, edit the cluster.xml file to add a port number to the AJP13 properties<br />

for the server and ensure that the remoteservers name is an exact match for the host<br />

name in the workers.properties file.<br />

The following code fragment shows a portion of the cluster.xml file. The AJP13<br />

listener port number should be the same as the one assigned in the workers.properties<br />

file described in “Configuring the Apache Web <strong>Server</strong>” on page 38:<br />
