Contact details for Quedgeley News are at the bottom of this page Editor Writes: As this is the last time I will be putting together an issue of Quedgeley News I would like to thank everyone who has supported me with articles and contributions over the past ten years. I have received a number of letters, emails and phone calls wishing me well for the future, so thank you to everyone who has taken the time to do so. I leave you to read just one of the letters as I start to pack up the “office” and think of that cruise we’ve booked. Good luck to the new team, I hope you have as much pleasure compiling the magazine each month as I have had in the past ten years. Can I take the opportunity through the Quedgeley News, to thank Sandra and Trefor for the work they have done to make our local paper successful over the last ten years for the benefit of everyone in Quedgeley. Not only bringing news and events to our notice but it also became a springboard for many issues arising in this growing community. We will never know the hours our editor worked to bring Q.N. to its present status, but if you had reason to visit you were always welcomed into her ‘Office‘ and by doing so, giving up an element of privacy in their home. Whilst I am sure the new team will continue the success of Quedgeley News it will be a hard act to follow in Sandra‘s footsteps. To Sandra and Trefor, I am sure, I say thank you on behalf of many of us in Quedgeley, it’s time to sit back and enjoy everything you have always wanted to do, but haven‘t been able to find the time.
