In two parts the show has a play based on a scrapbook found by the lady who put it together in her childhood when she is moving to sheltered accommodation. It acts out scenes from WW2 from Chamberlains speech to VE Day. Most of the cast are young people who have been rehearsing since last November. The play is professionally written and choreographed. Part 2 will be in the form of an Act of Remembrance featuring the Susan Tomlins Schools of Dance; the Band of the Gloucestershire Constabulary and the Pipes and Drums of St.Andrew’s amongst others. Veterans have been invited especially those who served in the Falklands War as this year we commemorate 30 years since the war and also the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Book now on 01452 755329.
