Briyana Guadalupe, of Canton,
was crowned Hal Jackson’s Talented
Teen International (HJTTI) of
Georgia on June 6. Besides the title,
she also won The Tasha Smith-
Dixon Academic Achievement
Scholarship Award for the highest
GPA and the Miss Congeniality
Award. For her talent, she performed
a medley of “A Change Is
Gonna Come” and “I Am Changing”
before the crowd at Southern
Polytechnic University. Briyana is
the daughter of Brenda Guadalupe
and an honor roll student at Sequoyah
High School. She enjoys
the performing arts, especially
singing and acting. She is a member
of the National Honor Society
and attended the Presidential Inauguration
as a Presidential Youth
Scholar. As Hal Jackson Talented
Teen International of Georgia, she
will promote community involvement
and be a role model to other
young ladies.
