5.3 IDLE PERIODS<br />
If the washing unit is not going to be used over a long<br />
period of time:<br />
1. Fill the chemical product reservoirs with water<br />
only and allow the system to make a few complete<br />
washing cycles. Now proceed with a few washing<br />
simulations with the chemical product reservoirs<br />
completely empty. These operationswill clean and<br />
then empty the chemical dispensing and delivery<br />
system.<br />
2. Empty all the water pipes in the system by opening<br />
the relevant drain cocks.<br />
3. Disconnect the electric line that connects the<br />
washing system to the power mains by means<br />
of the isolator switch installed on the supply side<br />
of the line itself. Disconnect the water and compressed<br />
air connections. Make sure that the line<br />
switch is not turned on again by unauthorized<br />
persons during the period in which the system is<br />
not used.<br />
4. Generally grease the system using water-repellent<br />
grease.<br />
5. Store the spray guns and brushes in a protected<br />
position, sheltered from direct sunlight.<br />

5.4 DISMANTLING THE UNIT<br />
Whenever your decide to dismantle the equipment,<br />
it must be disassebled and divided into similar units<br />
which will be disposed of in accordance with current<br />
local regulations concerning special waste disposal.<br />
Lubricants and detergents of any kind must be disposed<br />
of in accordance to their own structure.<br />
5.5 FAULT FINDING<br />

ATTENTION<br />
Power off the equipment before carrying out any<br />
repair or maintenance operation.<br />
Ensure that the door locking main switch is not<br />
actuated by unqualified or untrained personnel.<br />
If the fault persists even after the instructions<br />
listed hereafter have been followed, contact the<br />
Manufacturer Technical Service.<br />

The repairs and maintenance operations with the<br />
symbol at the side must be carried out by after sale<br />
engineers of CECCATO SpA.
