The unit does not regenerate the
water
No power supply Check fuses and main switch
 Timer faulty
Hard water comes out of the unit
Change the timer
No salt in the container Add salt
Clogged injector filter Clean the filter
Salt container filling flow is not Check the time to fill the salt container and clean the one-way valve
enough.
Air leakage or falty water suction - Check the gasket and the pilot tube.
in the salt container.
- Check the submerged tube
 Internal loss in the valve.
Too high salt consumption
- Replace the valve gasket, the cross elements or the piston.
 Regeneration voulume adjustment
too high
Check the regeneration volume according to the water hardness.
Too much water in the salt Injector clogged - Foreign body in the brine valve, disassemble and clean
container
Pressure drop
Iron deposit in the pipes. Clean the pipes.
Iron deposit in the softener. Clean the valve and the resin bottles. Increase the regeneration frequency.
Softener inlet side clogged by Clean the valve.
residues of works in the pipes
Loss of resins at the exit to the
sewage
Air in the water system. Check that the tank is not dry.
Iron in the treated water
Resin exhausted. Check the first phase; the brine suction and the salt container filling. Increase the
regeneration frequency.
Too much water in the salt
container
Brine suction valve clogged. Check the delivery regulator
Injector clogged. Clean the injector and the filter
Timer does not control the cycles. Change the timer
Foreign body in the brine valve. Replace the brine valve seat and clean the valve.
Foreign body in the one way Clean the valve.
valve.
Power black out during filling of Check the power supply.
the salt container.
The unit does not draw-in the brine
Brine suction valve clogged. Clean the delivery regulator.
 Injector clogged. Clean the injector.
Injector filter clogged. Clean the filter.
Too low pressure in the system. Increase the pressure in the system to 1,7 bar.
Valve internal leakage. Replace the gaskets, the cross elemenets and the piston assembly.
Air leakage or water suction - Check if the delivery pipe is broken.
anomaly in the salt container.
- Check the gasket and the pilot tube.
- Check the submerged pipe.
The valve regenerates without
interruption
Switch broken or in short circuit. Check wether the fault is in the switch or in the timer and replace the relevant item, or
replace the complete control head.
Loss towards the sewer
The valve does not carry out the
program.
Check the timer program and the valve positions. If the positions are not the correct
ones, replace the complete control head.
Foreign body in the valve. Dismount the complete control head and check the valve inside in the different positions
of regeneration.
Valve internal leakage. Replace the gaskets and the piston assembly.
