Definition of terms:<br />
GL = obturator linkage length,<br />
RD = pipe covering,<br />
GA = linkage departure point.<br />
This formula and the GA information enable the calculation of the<br />
stem extension length for the required pipe covering.<br />
GL = RD – 170 mm – GA<br />
After rearranging the formula it is also possible to calculate the pipe covering:<br />
RD = GL + 170 mm + GA<br />
