An ‘Open Doors’ event where you can discover
the story of the lead miners of Minera, the
village which takes its name from the valuable
ore deposits above which it stands. Try your
hand at panning for ‘lead’ and enjoy the great
views from the Engine House. Guided tour of
archaeological remains starts at 11am each day.

Leading blues band, ‘The Producers’ is playing at
Worthenbury as part of the UK tour to promote
the new CD. This is the group’s first club gig in
the area since the band folded in 2002, so it is
expected to create much interest amongst local
