This is the second of the St Giles’ sessions, which<br />

link <strong>Wrexham</strong>’s parish church with the region’s<br />

finest contemporary musicians. It features Andy<br />

Hickie who, with his guitar and harmonica,<br />

traditional folk ballads, tales of freedom, love, and<br />

life on the road, has been described as ‘The Welsh<br />

Bob Dylan’. Andy joins The Merry Maidens to<br />

make a seven-piece ‘super group’ whose influences<br />

of folk-rock, roots, and alternative sounds fuse to<br />

create a gathering of folk like no other.<br />

guidance and help in developing performance<br />

WORKSHOP WITH ANN BRIDGES<br />

A one-day workshop led by Royal Cambrian<br />

Academy artist, Ann Bridges, during which she will<br />

explore multi-layered printing. Attendees will<br />

make a series of unique and colourful multi-layered<br />

prints from cut card shapes and found materials.<br />
