In addition to being chair of Penn Vet’s
Board of Overseers, Christine Connelly is
president and CEO of Bright View Farm
and trustee of the Connelly Foundation.
“When I consider why I support Penn Veterinary Medicine,
the phrase ’Think globally, act locally’ comes to mind. The
future of the food supply, the migration of diseases, and
curing illness through stem cells all are being explored at
Penn Vet. I know from the many roles I have played at the
School that financial support enables Penn Vet to continue
to pave the way for future generations of practitioners and,
most importantly, for future generations of animals. Like
human medicine, veterinary medicine never stands still.
Innovation is everything, and that’s what I think of when I
think of Penn Vet.”
