Using the self-timer<br />
Mount the camera on a tripod or other steady surface.<br />
<strong>Focus</strong> on your subject with the power focus<br />
dial.<br />
Audible and visual signals will let you know<br />
that the self-timer has started.<br />
While pressing the self-timer button<br />
depress the shutter release<br />
The shutter will trip after 12 seconds, the<br />
audible signal will change its tone two<br />
seconds before the shutter trips.<br />
* The self-timer can be cancelled by pressing<br />
the self-timer button again or switching the<br />
mode dial to "OFF".
