Creo Color Servers connect to leading applications and systems through the use of JDF, offering
open connectivity for full process automation using certified and tested solutions. Integrations to
facilitate efficient print production include automation of major steps of the print process:
creation, submission, prepress and digital workflow management systems, digital printing, and
delivery. Improved and extensive JMF support allows meaningful integration to MIS for retrieving
actual production information and using it for accurate costing and billing.
Creo Color Servers allow JDF connectivity as one of its innate features. There's no need for any
connecting or mediating software to be able to send and receive JDF. All integrations are based on
open industry standards, not proprietary interfaces. PODS group is open to a variety of partners,
allowing flexibility in adjusting to various print service providers' and their customers' needs.
Integrations developed with a wide range of software applications and devices will be shown at
the JDF Experience Parc and in the PODS area within the Kodak booth. The PODS area in the Kodak
booth will demonstrate comprehensive workflow solutions that leverages Kodak Unified
Workflow Solutions, such as Kodak Prinergy and Kodak InSite Software technologies, and offers
PODS channels a high value proposition for their customers and print providers. Creo Color
Servers for Xerox, HP, Konica Minolta and Ocè will be shown in PODS' partners' booths.
Creo Color Server lassen sich über JDF mit gängigen Anwendungen und Systemen verbinden und
bieten offene Vernetzbarkeit zur vollständigen Prozessautomatisierung mit zertifizierten und
getesteten Lösungen. Effiziente Vernetzungen der Druckproduktion erforden die Automatisierung
der wichtigsten Arbeitsschritte: Kreativbereich, Auftragsannahme, Vorstufe und digitale Workflow
Managementsysteme, Digitaldruck und Versand. Mit der umfassenden Unterstützung von JMF ist
eine leistungsfähige Integration des MIS möglich. So können Informationen über den aktuellen
Stand der Produktion abgerufen und für Nachkalkulation und Fakturierung verwendet werden.
Creo Color Server haben die JDF Vernetzbarkeit direkt eingebaut. Es ist keine vermittelnde
Software nötig um JDF senden oder empfangen zu können. Die gesamte Vernetzung basiert auf
offenen Industriestandards, nicht auf proprietären Schnittstellen. Die PODS Group ist offen und
hat einen Vielzahl von Partnern. Dies ermöglicht eine hohe Flexibilität beim Anpassen der Systeme
an die Anforderungen der unterschiedlichen Druckdienstleister und deren Kunden.
Vernetzungen mit einer Vielzahl von Softwareanwendungen und Geräten werden im JDF
Experience Parc und im PODS Bereich auf dem Kodak Stand gezeigt. Im PODS Bereich auf dem
Kodak Stand wird eine umfangreiche Workflow Lösung gezeigt, bei der die „Kodak Unified
Workflow Solutions” zum Einsatz kommen, wie z.B. Kodak Prinergy und Kodak InSite Software
Technologien. Die Creo Color Server für Xerox, HP, Konica Minolta und Ocè werden auf den
Ständen der PODS Partners gezeigt.
