a weak zwitterionic character <strong>and</strong> that secondary orbital <strong>in</strong>teractions facilitate the<br />

endo approach.<br />

However, the problems of cycloaddition of nitronates with dipolarophiles<br />

require systematic studies. Unfortunately, only two studies deal<strong>in</strong>g with these<br />
