Tuition fees
Tuition fees are based on the number of modules a student takes each year. The fees listed above correspond to the average price for a full-time course load.
Each module costs CHF 4,000. Students retaking exams are charged a fee of CHF 300 per registered exam.
Facilities and services
Prepaid food and beverage account
At the start of each academic year, the student’s card is charged with the compulsory food and beverage fee listed in the table above. The student may spend this
amount on meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and drinks in any of EHL’s points of sale. The annual amount is sufficient for an average of ten two-course meals per
week a standard DHR student spends on campus. Food and beverage money not spent by the end of the academic year will not be reimbursed.

Health insurance
Students whose fiscal residence (or whose parents’ fiscal residence) is outside Switzerland at the time they start their studies at EHL are automatically enrolled in
EHL’s private health and basic accident insurance plan at a rate of CHF 1,720 per year. It is possible to be exempted from this insurance plan by providing proof of
adequate coverage to the Swiss authorities.
On-campus accommodation
Living on campus is optional. Prices range from CHF 230 to CHF 245 per week per person for a single occupancy studio. The price is CHF 136 per person per week
for a double occupancy studio. Rental contracts are issued for the duration of the academic term in which the student is enrolled. Prices as indicated in the table
above are for the duration of an academic term;; summer holidays and internship periods are excluded. Electricity, heating, internet connection, bed linens, towels
and weekly cleaning are included in the price.
Parking
On-campus parking permits are optional. Parking prices vary depending on the distance to the main building and range from CHF 21 to CHF 46 per week per car.
Permits are issued for the duration of the academic term in which the student is enrolled. Prices as indicated in the table above are for the duration of an
academic term;; summer holidays and internship periods are excluded. EHL sponsors 30% of the price of a yearly 3-zone Mobilis pass to all students who use
Lausanne’s public transportation system (TL) and who choose not to purchase EHL parking permits.
Registration with Swiss authorities
Administrative fees charged by Swiss authorities for residence permits and other communal, cantonal and federal matters can amount to a total of approximately
CHF 100 per year.

This fee includes an access right to EHL’s infrastructure including the school’s restaurants, and sports facilities. This amount also covers practical and
academic study materials, copyrights, as well as a contribution to the Student Fund to cover extra-curricular and student-run activities. A student insurance
package comprised of complementary accident insurance, public liability insurance, computer and theft insurance is also included. The kitchen and service
uniforms that students are issued upon the start of the year are also covered by these fees. The fee for facilities and services applies to each student
regardless of the number of courses a student has registered for.
