SIMPACK User Meeting 2011 — Information
General information
The majority of presentations will be held in English, some will be held in German.
A simultaneous English-German, German-English translation will be available in
selected sessions.
On 18 th May 2011 registration for the User Meeting starts at 8:30 am, the
presentations start at 9:30 am. Prior booked extra tickets for the gala dinner can be
picked up from 5–5:30 pm at the Salzburg Congress registration desk.

Lunch
On the 18 th & 19 th May 2011 a lunch buffet will be served in the Salzburg Congress,
which is included in the conference fee.
Gala Dinner
On the evening of the 18th May 2011, starting at 7 pm, a gala dinner will be held at
the StieglKeller Salzburg (see address below) which is within a 20 minute walking
distance from the Salzburg Congress. The registration fee includes one ticket to the
dinner event. Extra tickets for an accompanying
person are available (please see User Meeting
Registration). The gala dinner ticket costs
64,71 € excl. VAT.

per presentation. Additional speakers need to register at regular registration
conditions.
How to get there
SIMPACK User Meeting 2011 — Information
By car
From all directions: Take the A1 and exit at “Mitte” — direction “Salzburg”.
Follow the “Ignaz-Harrer-Strasse” and turn right at the first crossing after the bridge.
Drive under the railway bridge and shortly after the first set of traffic lights turn left
onto “Auerspergstrasse”. The Salzburg Congress is located next to the Sheraton
Hotel. (GPS coordinates: Latitude: 47.807, Longitude: 13.0412)
From the central Train station
Salzburg’s Central Train Station is only a 15-minute walk from Salzburg’s Congress
center. The city bus lines 1, 2, 3, 5 or 6 will take you to the Salzburg Congress, travel
time approx. 3 mins.
From salzburg’s W.a. Mozart airport
Located four kilometers from the city center, the Salzburg Congress is only approx.
15 minutes from the airport by taxi. The cost is around 15–20 €. The city bus line 2
will take you to the Central Train Station, travel time approx. 20 mins.
