SUMMARY
It was conducted a research study of descriptive and field research with a type of sample
rational non-probabilistic, through interviews, questionnaires, and observations at the work
site to determine the role of pesticides phosphorous bodies in the presence of pathologies
Neuro-psycho-vegetative chronicles in the banana workers who handle these substances. The
combination of factors such as exposure time and the inadequate use of protective equipment,
it would facilitate greater absorption of these substances.
Analyzed a group of 20 workers of the masculine gender, with ages between 20 and 45 years,
with an area of work that fluctuates between 2 and 8 years of age who are applied to them the
questionnaire PNF, which assesses the mental activity of the Central Nervous System related
to chronic intoxication by these substances, correlating with the levels of serum cholinesterase
and hepatic transaminases. The result obtained determined a considerable involvement at
different scales, on the health of the people that they manipulate.
Finally, a product of observation and research carried out, it raised a surveillance protocol for
the health of workers in order to minimize exposure to these substances and the health effects
that these generate.
