The Mine Water Sustainability In<strong>de</strong>x, is<br />

part of the three-dimensional structure of<br />

the ST, composite for three (3) indicators<br />

and each have lots of sub-indicators<br />

<strong>de</strong>pending on the type, dimension,<br />

localization and other characteristics of<br />

the mining operation.<br />

To calculate the sustainability in<strong>de</strong>x of<br />

each component the condition of<br />

sustainability of each pollutant element<br />

(X and/or X ') based in standard of<br />

sustainability or life quality, given for the<br />

norms. Three criteria are taken<br />

consi<strong>de</strong>ring the local condition of the<br />

elements or ambient 0 variables (xi):<br />

1) When the sustainability is with<br />

xi < X<br />

2) When the sustainability is with<br />

xi ≥ X<br />

3) When the sustainability is with<br />
