Registered five-cent US postal stationery suplemented with a 5c. stamp (position 5). There are only three 5c. stamps of the fourth
printing known on cover, three registered letters franked with stamps of this printing, and this is the only surviving example in
combination with a complete stationery envelope of all the Puerto Principe issues. It was addressed to the famous philatelist J.
Andreini, who wrote the first book about this provisional issue in the early 20th century. Rate: 5 c. foreign to the U.S + 5c. registry
fee.
