The incorporation of new communication technologies, primarily the Internet, has
created profound changes in our traditional way of working. Nowadays, more and
more people have turned their homes into offices, where teleworking makes time,
space and even one’s own identity relative.
Based on these premises, the goal was to experiment with the creation of a virtual
network of professionals that perform creative work, such as industrial design,
graphic design, web design and audiovisual work, among others. It is a multiplicity
of identities that are doing the same thing in different parts of the world.
A company devoted to rendering creative services will by developed by means of
a virtual platform. This company will have the resources necessary to create a database
of creative people selected through an admission test. Each person will be
assigned a specific task in some of the company’s projects. The benefits brought
about by this new way of working through an interactive work interface are: total
control of the creative process, optimisation of production times, ongoing communication
between the customer and designer through meetings, appointments,
gatherings, virtual presentations, etc., ease of sharing high resolution files, the possibility
of several people working simultaneously on the same file, that they are part
of a specific working group.
Accordingly, support will be given to those companies that do not have their own
creativity departments and that, when designing new products, do not know who
to turn to. At the same time, it will give increased credibility to the designers and
creative professionals working from home, who are part of an organised network
and who are backed by a virtual company.
