La actividad proyectual y creativa del diseño en EDL está ligada a un
conocimiento adecuado del usuario y del contexto del que forma parte.
El diseñador obtiene toda la información relevante acerca del estilo de vida, los
valores, el comportamiento y las características humanas y sociales del usuario,
a través de un proceso de investigación y documentación. Así mismo, estudia
las relaciones del individuo con su entorno social, político, económico, etc.
Tras este proceso, el diseñador cuenta con aquellos factores que le ayudarán a
determinar la idoneidad y eficacia de su propuesta.
Successful planning and creating of designs at EDL is dependent on proper
awareness of the user and the context within which the work is performed.
The designer obtains all the relevant information on the life style, values,
behaviour and human and social characteristics of the user by conducting
thorough research and documentation. They must also study the relationships
of the individual with his or her social, political or economic background, etc.
Following this process, the designer will have a solid grasp of all the factors
needed to determine the suitability and effectiveness of his or her proposal.
