Perico, Jujuy, Argentina Sinopsis Valle Colorado es una comunidad aborigen ubicada al noreste <strong>de</strong> la provincia <strong>de</strong> Jujuy. La actividad dominante <strong>de</strong> la zona es la crianza <strong>de</strong> vacunos y la siembra está relegada a la subsistencia familiar. Este esquema naturaliza la migración <strong>de</strong> los jóvenes a los centros urbanos y productivos <strong>de</strong>l país. Entre los que se quedan están los abuelos con más <strong>de</strong> 80 años que todavía anhelan contagiar a las nuevas generaciones <strong>de</strong>l legado <strong>de</strong> sus antepasados. Martina Calapeña tiene 55 años, es evangelista y partera na- tural, es <strong>de</strong> carácter fuerte y rompe con el prototipo <strong>de</strong> mujer sumisa. Empren<strong>de</strong> la búsqueda <strong>de</strong> las huellas <strong>de</strong>l pasado, indaga y articula los testimonios <strong>de</strong> los miembros <strong>de</strong> la comunidad. La siguen en este afán un equipo reducido <strong>de</strong> documentalistas. Detrás <strong>de</strong> un paisaje natural <strong>de</strong> admirable belleza, se oculta el peligro que en pocos minutos pue<strong>de</strong> ser violento y trágico para los lugareños. La vida comunitaria es pintoresca, callada y lenta; eso también oculta la realidad que oscurece el presente y compromete a las futuras generaciones <strong>de</strong> la comunidad. La búsqueda es para Martina una odisea. ¿Logrará <strong>de</strong>volverle el sentido ancestral a su comunidad Waldo Ernesto Guerrero (Director) es licenciado en Educación para la Salud <strong>de</strong> la Universidad Nacional <strong>de</strong> Jujuy (UNJu). Trabaja como investigador <strong>de</strong> campo en programas <strong>de</strong> investigación y capacitación. Se inició en el documentalismo a partir <strong>de</strong>l uso <strong>de</strong>l vi<strong>de</strong>o en la investigación social. Su cortometraje documental Y vuelvo otra vez, sobre el trabajo infantil en el tabaco, obtuvo financiamiento <strong>de</strong> la Universidad <strong>de</strong> California <strong>de</strong> EE.UU. y fue premiado en festivales en Río Gallegos y Salta y seleccionado para el Programa País, Semillero <strong>de</strong> Talentos. Recibió el Premio Nacional Arturo Jauretche a la Investigación Acción Participativa <strong>de</strong>l Ministerio <strong>de</strong> Desarrollo Social <strong>de</strong> la Nación y la Beca <strong>de</strong>l Fondo Nacional <strong>de</strong> las Artes entre otras distinciones. Es miembro <strong>de</strong> la asociación civil INCLUIR (Instituto para la inclusión social y el <strong>de</strong>sarrollo humano) con se<strong>de</strong> en Buenos Aires y ciudad Perico, Jujuy. El documental Valle Colorado logró el Primer Premio <strong>de</strong>l Festival Iberoamericano “Al extremo cortos” y se exhibió en Trieste, Italia. Asunción Rodríguez (Productora) es tesista <strong>de</strong> la Licenciatura en Comunicación Social <strong>de</strong> la Universidad Nacional <strong>de</strong> Jujuy. Ingresa al mundo audiovisual a través <strong>de</strong>l programa El periodismo que viene conducido por Gigliola Canela Zecchin en el Canal Todo Noticias, (TN). Es productora <strong>de</strong> programas <strong>de</strong> TV, publicida<strong>de</strong>s, serie <strong>de</strong> documentales y muestras artísticas. Produjo el cortometraje documental Y vuelvo otra vez que participó <strong>de</strong>l Programa País, Semillero <strong>de</strong> Talentos en el 20º Festival Internacional <strong>de</strong> Cine <strong>de</strong> Mar <strong>de</strong>l Plata en la Clínica <strong>de</strong> Edición y Montaje a cargo <strong>de</strong> Jorge Prelorán. Recibió una beca <strong>de</strong>l Fondo Nacional <strong>de</strong> las Artes a proyectos grupales y la beca en Gestión Cultural <strong>de</strong> Cultura Nación. Silvia Ana Lía Hoyos (Guionista) es licenciada en Antropología <strong>de</strong> la Universidad Nacional <strong>de</strong> Jujuy. Se inició como guionista a través <strong>de</strong>l documental Valle Colorado como parte <strong>de</strong> la investigación <strong>de</strong> tesis, trabajo que fue distinguido con el Primer Premio en el concurso “Al extremo cortos” <strong>de</strong> la provincia <strong>de</strong> Santa Cruz y Selección Oberá en Cortos <strong>2009</strong> sección Pueblos Originarios. En 2007 recibió el Premio Nacional “Arturo Jauretche” a la Investigación Acción Participativa por el proyecto “Haciendo memoria: historia oral en Santa Ana <strong>de</strong> Valle Gran<strong>de</strong>, Provincia <strong>de</strong> Jujuy” otorgado por el Ministerio <strong>de</strong> Desarrollo Social. Recibió una beca otorgada por el Estado <strong>de</strong> Israel para realizar el curso “Desarrollo Comunitario y Organización Cooperativa Rural” en el Centro Internacional <strong>de</strong> Capacitación Golda Meir, Monte Carmel Haifa Sinopsis Valle Colorado is an aboriginal community located northeast of Jujuy Province. The main activity in the area is cattle raising; while food growing is just for household consumption. This dynamics makes young people migrate to cities and industrial areas. She was granted a National Arts Fund scholarship for collective projects and a scholarship on Culture Management by the National Government. Her first documentary script Valle Colorado is part of her thesis research, and was awar<strong>de</strong>d First Prize at the Spanish American Festival “Al extremo cortos” in Santa Cruz. This work was also selected at “Oberá en Cortos”, Misiones, <strong>2009</strong>. In 2007 she was awar<strong>de</strong>d the National Prize “Arturo Jauretche” for Empowering Action Research for a project on oral history in Santa Ana <strong>de</strong> Valle Gran<strong>de</strong>, Jujuy. She was also granted a scholarship to train on rural cooperative organization and community <strong>de</strong>velopment at Golda Meir MCTC, in Israel.
