Boletines InformativosTanto el Programa <strong>de</strong> Mujeres y <strong>Derechos</strong> <strong>Humanos</strong>,como el Programa Democracia y <strong>Derechos</strong> <strong>Humanos</strong>, prepararonboletines informativos en formato electrónico que difundieronentre sus re<strong>de</strong>s <strong>de</strong> ex alumnos/as y a un público más amplio <strong>de</strong>personas e instituciones. Los boletines comparten informaciónsobre las activida<strong>de</strong>s <strong>de</strong> docencia e investigación, noticias <strong>de</strong>ex alumnos/as, conferencias y eventos recientes, columnas <strong>de</strong>opinión sobre temas <strong>de</strong> interés, comentarios sobre lecturasrecomendadas y otros recursos relevantes.Encuesta <strong>de</strong> impacto a ex alumnos/asCada año, el CDH realiza una consulta a sus exalumnas/ossobre el impacto que tienen los diplomas cursadosen sus trayectorias profesionales. Este año, se realizó la encuestacon los 144 ex alumnos/as <strong>de</strong>l diploma <strong>Derechos</strong> <strong>Humanos</strong> yProcesos <strong>de</strong> Democratización, <strong>de</strong> los/as cuales respondieron 41(28%).Las respuestas <strong>de</strong>muestran que hay consenso entrelos/as ex alumnos/as que haber participado en el diploma tieneun impacto positivo en su <strong>de</strong>sarrollo profesional: 85% manifestóque el diploma les entregó herramientas y conocimientos pararealizar investigaciones y/o informes en temas relacionadoscon el diploma; 83% indicó que les permitió profundizar laperspectiva <strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>rechos humanos en su trabajo diario; 73%reveló que el diploma les permitió replicar los conocimientosadquiridos en el Diploma con otras personas, grupos y/uorganizaciones; y, 57% indicó que les abrió oportunida<strong>de</strong>s <strong>de</strong>reconocimiento, cambio o crecimiento laboral.Information BulletinsBoth the Women and Human Rights Program and theDemocracy and Human Rights Program prepared informationbulletins in electronic format, which were distributed amongthe networks of former stu<strong>de</strong>nts and to a broa<strong>de</strong>r public ofindividuals and institutions. The bulletins provi<strong>de</strong> informationon teaching and research activities, news on former stu<strong>de</strong>nts,conferences and recent events, opinion columns on subjectsof interest, comments on recommen<strong>de</strong>d reading and otherrelevant matters.Alumni SurveyEach year, the CDH conducts a survey among its formerstu<strong>de</strong>nts in or<strong>de</strong>r to measure the medium and long term impactof our diplomas. This year, we conducted the survey with thealumni of the diploma Human Rights and DemocratizationProcesses. The survey was sent to 144 alumni, of which 41 (28%)respon<strong>de</strong>d.The answers show consensus among our alumnithat having taken the course had a positive impact on theirprofessional <strong>de</strong>velopment: 85% said that the course provi<strong>de</strong>dthem with tools and the knowledge to conduct research and/or prepare reports on subjects related to the course; 83% statedit allowed them to strengthen the human rights perspective intheir everyday work; 73% answered that the course allowed themto replicate with other individuals, groups and organizationsthe knowledge they had acquired through the course; and, 57%replied that the course opened up opportunities for recognition,change or professional <strong>de</strong>velopment.““El diploma me permitió profundizar aspectosteóricos <strong>de</strong> justicia transicional que fueron aplicados en lagestación <strong>de</strong> la Comisión <strong>de</strong> Amnistía <strong>de</strong> Brasil”; “[El diploma]me permitió contar con herramientas teóricas y prácticaspara <strong>de</strong>sarrollar una investigación sobre violencia sexual enel marco <strong>de</strong> aplicación <strong>de</strong> ley <strong>de</strong> justicia y paz en Colombia(2005).
