REQUIREMENTS<br />

When you arrive in Honduras by air, you land at one of the international airports: Tegucigalpa,<br />

San Pedro Sula, La Ceiba or Roatan. If the trip is by land you can choose between the<br />

border crossings of El Corinto, Agua Caliente and El Florido from Guatemala; El Amatillo or<br />

El Poy from El Salvador; and Guasaule, La Fraternidad or Las Manos from Nicaragua. When<br />

arriving by cruise, you will dock in Roatan, Trujillo or Puerto Cortes.<br />

Citizens (including business people) from the following FTAA countries do not require a<br />

visitor's visa to arrive in transit or enter Honduras as tourists:<br />

Argentina Canada Chile<br />

Costa Rica Mexico El Salvador<br />

Guatemala Panama Nicaragua<br />

USA<br />

Uruguay<br />

Citizens from Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia require a consulted visa.<br />

Tourism visas are valid for 30 days. Extensions can be requested in Honduras with the<br />

immigration authorities for 60 more days.<br />

If you are traveling from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, French<br />

Guiana, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago or Venezuela, you should<br />

be vaccinated against yellow fever at least 10 days before your trip to Honduras. You also<br />

need a vaccine if you travel from Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central<br />

African Republic, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Gambia,<br />

Ghana, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Kenya, Nigeria, Sierra Leone,<br />

Senegal, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, St. Thomas and Prince, or Togo.<br />
