El caso está, finalmente, en que nosotros coincidamos en la importancia que realmente tiene la
vida social activa saludable, donde el ser humano sienta satisfacción con las relaciones
interpersonales y el autocuidado.
Ahora, ¿cuál es nuestro verdadero autocuidado? conocerse, controlar emociones, encontrar las
verdaderas pasiones, disminuir los apegos, hacer terapia para reconocer los principios de mis
comportamientos y fortalecer nuestro esquema como seres humanos, y a la fecha sin dejar de
lado... el uso del tapabocas, el distanciamiento social y el lavado recurrente de manos durante
tiempos de pandemia… ese es el verdadero autocuidado.

I still remember that, in my rush of becoming a
professional teacher (I had been a teacher for many years,
but I didn’t have my bachelor’s degree yet), I ended up
studying Spanish in a university X in Medellín. Fortunately,
such a big mistake only lasted for 3 semesters (or 2, I’m
not sure) and at the end I graduated from Luis Amigó, a
university I love with all my soul, in BASIC EDUCATION IN
HUMANITIES WITH EMPHASIS IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE -
ENGLISH.
Before getting enrolled in that infamous univesity X where I pretended to study Spanish, I
approached an-office to ask for some information, because education, as a career, was about to
disappear from that university; in fact, we were supposed to be the last promotion of “Education
with Emphasis in Spanish”. Because of the latter, I wanted to know what would happen if I failed
a subject, since no others were coming behind us in the career. I asked a middle aged man, who
looked at me with surprise and told me very seriously: “You didn’t come here to fail…”
Wow! I said to myself – in this university you are not supposed to fail… not even Harvard has
