“Well-educated women are needed for Africa to be successful ecologically,<br />
socially and economically” says Sister Esther.<br />
Since 2003, we have been supporting the school through the <strong>HAND</strong> <strong>IN</strong><br />
<strong>HAND</strong> fund. With the fund money, a classroom was built and equipped<br />
with needed classroom materials. In addition, the girls were able to buy<br />
a piece of land where they produce their own healthy, organic foods.<br />
At the RAPUNZEL “One World Festival” in 2008, we presented Sister<br />
������� ����� �� ������ ����� ������� ��� ���� ������ ����� ����� ���������<br />
employees who donated their<br />
wages from the „One World<br />
Festival“ to the Girls‘ School in<br />
Tanzania. This donation was<br />
used to renovate the school’s<br />
sanitary facilities so that the<br />
pupils need no longer wash in<br />
open-air.<br />
