Connection to cooling (tap) water
For applications near the ambient temperature, the cooling coil must
be connected to the water mains.
• Using tubing, connect the cooling coil to the tap water supply,
and lead the tap water in a sink through the return connector.
• A specific water flow rate of 100 ml/minute is sufficient to
compensate for the characteristic temperature.
Recommendation: Use a flow-rate regulator.

External Cooling Devices
Recommended in combination with CT 53, CT54, CT 53 HT and
CT 54 HT
With the flow-through cooler CK 300 from SCHOTT-GERÄTE, the
heat transfer liquid can be cooled down and the transparent
thermostat can be rendered independent of tap water.
• Installation and use are described in the instruction manual for
the cooler.
