Preparations
Insulation of the bath cover B
The insulation reduces condensation of moisture and prevents the
formation of ice on the bath cover.

Insert a measuring stand AVS in each of the two openings and
place it on the bath bottom
or
Immerse manual measurement inserts for viscometers in the
opening and insert viscometers with holders.
Cover the unused openings with the lid.
(see section 5.4.)
Lay on insulation for the bath cover.
Lay the metal bath cover on the insulation.
• Make sure that the tubes are securely attached.
• Employ suitable connecting tubing (temperature range).
• Avoid mechanical work (torsion, bending) to be applied to tubing.
• Regularly check the tubing for material defects (e.g. for cracks).
19.6. Magnetic stirrer (option)
Transparent baths CT 53, CT 53 HT, CT 53 TT, CT 54, CT 54 HT
When using AVS-measuring stands, each measuring point can be
equipped with a magnetic stirrer later.
On bottom of the bath there are removable covers with leading-in
tubes for the necessary supply cables. These covers are accessible
from below.
